CAGE BLENDER FOR BINS /IPC / BUNKER
Cage Blending system is in use all over the world for the powder and granules blending in pharmaceutical industry,. It has replaced completely the conventional blenders like 'Y' shape / Double cone or Ribbon type.
In the conventional type blenders, the charging and discharging used to be very time consuming causing a lot of dust generation in the process. In the Cage Blender or Container Mixer concept, the powder or granules are transferred through a dust tight duct into the container bin through an openable manhole on top. The Bin / IPC / Bunker is then loaded in the cage and rotated at 20 RPM. The ideal blending time is anywhere 5 to 20 minutes. After blending the Bin / IPC / Bunker is removed from the cage using suitable material handling equipment and placed on top of the Tableting machine / filling equipment. These bins have a built in butterfly valves at the bottom through which the powder is discharged at the required flow in the hopper of the tableting machine / filling machines using tranfer auxiliaries.

SALIENT FEATURES:

The dust formation in the tableting or respective area is completely eliminated.
The deblending does not take place, even if the blending time exceeds the validated limits.
There is no scooping involved for charging or discharging unlike the conventional ones.
Cap. ranging from 100 ltrs. to 1200 ltrs.

DESIGN:

The machine consists of a fabricated M.S. / S.S. Cage rotating at 20 RPM. It has an openable door in front through which the Stainless steel Bin / IPC / Bunker, containing the product is loaded in the cage. After the mixing, the Bin / IPC / Bunker is removed and the cage is recharged with another loaded Bin / IPC / Bunker.

 The Bins are stackable one over the other and have complete stability.
 The Bins can be lifted, stacked and transported by Fork Lift Turck.
 The charging hole with cover is provided on top with quick opening and closing arrangement.
 Each Bin hasa built-in Butterfly valve 150mm dia. at the bottom suitable for discharge.
 The Bins are highly polished from inside and outside.
 Suitable leak proof vent is provided on top.
